Adventures of Sarapiquí has grown, and now offers Class 1-4 tours on the Sarapiquí and Puerto Viejo rivers, we use fixed rowing boats, and hard kayaks. All our guides are experts in guiding these boats. In addition, all have completed courses in water rescue, first aid and resuscitation. Within other things; The guides have also been trained by the INA and are certified by the ICT to work on white water tours.
Due to the amount of water that falls annually in Costa Rica, our guides practice on the river 365 days a year. Our guides have also participated in many international and national competitions, such as the Latin American Rafting Championship, the White Water Camel Challenge, the World Rodeo Kayaking Championship and many others. Our clients include children as young as 4 years old up to adults of 93 years; families, student groups, professionals, athletes and corporate groups. We have the ability to satisfy specific needs of our clients. As a company, we are constantly working to protect and preserve the environment. We also train and employ community guides and participate in environmental education programs.
